Onyx Console Modes
The Onyx software is identical to all consoles in the Onyx platform.

Onyx 8
The NX1-8 runs in Live 8 mode.
- Any 8 universes are completely free to use for Onyx USB, Art-Net, and sACN protocol output. All patching and programming are possible without restrictions for all 128 Universes.
- 2 DyLOS Zones are enabled. Additional zones show a random watermark.
- OSC Playback, MIDI, and all timecode protocols are fully enabled.
- No 3rd-party USB-DMX devices are supported.
Onyx 16 lite
The NX1-16 runs in LIVE 16 mode.
- Any 16 universes are completely free to use for Onyx USB, Art-Net, and sACN protocol output. All patching and programming are possible without restrictions for all 128 Universes.
- 2 DyLOS Zones are enabled. Additional zones show a random watermark.
- OSC Playback, MIDI, and all timecode protocols are fully enabled.
- No 3rd-party USB-DMX devices are supported.
Onyx 64
The NX-2 and NX-4 run in LIVE 64 mode.
- Any 64 universes are completely free to use for Onyx USB, Art-Net, and sACN protocol output. All patching and programming are possible without restrictions for all 128 Universes.
- 5 DyLOS Zones are enabled.
- OSC Playback, MIDI, and all timecode protocols are fully enabled.
- No 3rd-party USB-DMX devices are supported.
Onyx 128
The M6+ (Onyx Kit) runs in LIVE 128 mode.
- All 128 universes are completely free to use for Onyx USB, Art-Net, and sACN protocol output. All patching and programming are possible without restrictions for all 128 Universes.
- 5 DyLOS Zones are enabled.
- OSC Playback, MIDI, and all timecode protocols are fully enabled.
- No 3rd-party USB-DMX devices are supported.
